Really good fast food. Even for breakfast!!! May 02, 2011
A great fast food chain based here on the west coast in California. Their first location was in San Diego and opened in 1951 and has grown ever since. In the early days they had a clown at the drive thru that seemed to talk to you and take your order. In 1969 they developed the first breakfast sandwich, which today has become the Breakfast Jack, an inexpensive egg, cheese, and meat combination served on a hamburger bun. In 1995 came out with a new CEO, named Jack Box, a man with a very large white ball head with two blue dots for eyes, a small cone shaped hat worn to one side, a small black pointed nose and a grin style mouth that was quite large. They also began selling an Antenna Ball of Jack which has found its way to a collectors status following and many unique changes and specific types have been made. Their menu includes many breakfast items, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and other items, along with drinks, smoothies, deserts, and sides (such as fries), all of which can be purchased at any time of the day or night. And most of their locations are open 24/7 and include a drive thru window. We find ourselves eating there especially for our breakfasts pretty frequently. Always fast, friendly, clean, and consistent food and service at a very low price.

Oh, yeah, I remember that talking clown! We had fun talking to it when I was at college back in the day! "Hey, Jack ..." :)
