Jable Bermudas Apartments

I stayed in these apartments back in the summer of 2005. This was a last minute holiday booked on a Monday and we flew out to Lanzarote on the Thursday. The accommadation is a complex of single storey apartments on either side of a small street. We were lucky enough to have an apartment in the garden/pool area of the complex. The other apartments were along the roadside. Obviously these apartments are self catering and there is a small supermarket within a 5 minute walk away. The apartments are situated in close proximity to the seafront promenade depending on which way you turn. Take a right turn out of the complex and the main strip & supermarket are about 5 mins away. Take a left turn out of the complex and you are met with a steep hill which brings you out to a more central location on the seafront. The apartments are pretty basic but adequate, though when we stayed there, there was only one wardrobe between the two of us and the bed linen was pretty basic and a little worn. There was a small kitchen area with hob (no oven)kettle and fridge, minimum cutlery and crockery. Lounge area extended from the kitchen area and consisted of a bed settee, two chairs and a coffee table. There was also a small patio area with chairs but directly overlooked the opposite buildings. Was ok for sitting out and having breakfast but would not have sat out there for any length of time. Maid service was excellent,clean towels were provided everyday. Pool area is small and the pool does not have a shallow end for small children. There were no warning signs visible giving information on the depth of the pool other than on the poolside itself. There is also a poolside diner. Apartments are very close to restaurants and bars. The Lucky Boat was a wonderful chinese restaurant that we ate in on more than one occasion and we also frequented Terry & Kitty's little English bar down the road from the complex. There are lots of beautiful restaurants along the promenade and one in particular specialised in seafood though unfortunately I can't remember it's name. There was an excellent perfume shop near Los Fariones hotel, prices were cheaper than duty free!!! Numerous activities can be found along the promenade. We took a submarine trip out to the depths of the Atlantic ocean and also an afternoon trip on a catarmaran though was disappointed not to see any dolphins. All in all I would recommend you stay here if on a budget and not expecting too much.
