A little more than Five Star May 23, 2008
My friend Corinna won two free nights at the Star pass resort last year during a fundraiser for the Red Cross last year. She called me and asked if I wanted to stay with her over there during Christmas since I was not taking time off. I said no, but then another time she insisted we go on a hike and we ended up at the resort. It is nestled in the foot hills with beautiful desert background. In my day, I have stayed at many resorts hotel and usually it is Intercontinental, Hyatt, Novotel in Europe, Hilton or the Sheraton chain. I will tell you right now that this is a little more than first class especially the service. The landscaping, the architecture, the interior decorating was all top quality. JW Marriott in Tucson is top quality for the price you pat. For Marriott, JW Star Pass resort is their high end chain, and the Tucson hotel lives up to its name.
The outside sitting with fire places, the swimming pool and proximity to nature hiking – priceless. For the business traveler, there is no better place to stay. I recommend this for all audiences; honeymooners, couples, girlfriends, business people, disabled. All in all, awesome accommodation Part of the TUCSON TRAVBUDDY MEET UP (Nov.08) travel blog |
