Affordable clean property poor staff Apr 13, 2011
JJ Guesthouse is across Julie's guesthouse in the heart of the old city. It is in a wonderful location and has very clean rooms for a good price of 350 baht and clean bed and shower with a balcony. The unfortate part is a really rude receptionist which detracts from the experience. If staff treated people better I would probably give it 4 stars. The lady I believe is unhappy with her job and makes any questions you ask her to be a chores. Her response to your question is "yes I already know" which again ditracts from the experience. However, location, cost, and cleanliness are good if you can ignore the staff.

the lady is definitely unhappy with her job. she stole stuff out of my backpack. she even denied to have a camera to see who went through my backpack. she was such a bitch!! wouldn`t recommend JJ Guesthouse!

good value for money, clean and friendly May 02, 2011
stayed in a private room here for about 300 Baht. Really good value for money. hostel can be a bit noisy if there are a lot of people around but generally had no problems. Clean, safe and good mix of people here - would recommend to other backpackers who aren't on such a tight budget
