JD Wetherspoons Reviews
Affordable pubs in London Mar 28, 2008
When I first came to London, I was always looking for cheap places to eat. Most pubs sell pints of beer and cider for over £4. Some serve it as little as £2.
If you go to a JD Wetherspoon pub, you can get a burger, chips, and a pint of beer, cider, or juice for LESS than £5. As low at £3 some places.
The food is pretty good, and the beers/ciders are served colder than usual. It's a really good place to eat din, lunch, or have a pint with friends.
Some people don't like chains like Wetherspoons, but I don't mind them. Especially when it doesn't break the bank.
Wetherspoons has pubs/restaurants all over the UK, but very few of them actually have Wetherspoons in the name. They will be named things like Moon Over Water, The Misty Moon, Moon Under the Misty Bridge, etc.
So, if you're on a tight budget, or if you just want to chill out with a cheap pint, you should try to find a Wetherspoons. www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk
