Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo - Ixtapa - TravBuddy

I went with 3 girlfriends and we stayed at the Pacifica Resort in Ixtapa. The hotel was absolutely amazing, all the staff was great, and extremely friendly as well as helpful. We had a great time doing everything. The beaches were all beautiful, the water was warm and the weather was really hot. When you visit Ixtapa it is a MUST that you go to the Isla Ixtapa. "The Ixtapa Island" It is amazing!!! We went snorkeling and swimming and it is only $3 to take the taxi across to the Island. You also have to go to the local city, Zihuatanejo, (which you fly into anyways). The shopping areas are really great, beware of the hot sun though and be prepared to have people try to sell you stuff left and right. The bars are great, very fun with live music and great friendly locals. You will have an awesome time. I would highly recommend to go on the City tour to see coconut plantations and the deep city.
