Seattle is known for seafood. My absolute favorite is Ivar's Clam Bar. Their clam chowder is amazing and the smoked salmon chowder is even better. I also recommend the clam strips & chips, the salmon & chips, and the tartar sauce.
They're located down on the pier right next to the ferry terminal. There is an outdoor fish bar or a classier indoor restaurant. Both are fantastic depending on your mood. For truly classic Seattle dinning Ivar’s is a must!
