When we arrived at this hostel, we were told that the room we were originally booked for was undergoing repairs, and that we would have to be moved somewhere else. The clerk working there told us that she would set up us in an unused apartment owned by her friend, and we were a bit skeptical of what we were going to get thrown into. She led us a few blocks away to another apartment building, and were pleasantly surprised when we noticed that the apartment was new, clean, and somewhat luxurious. And we were paying hostel rates. Not sure if other travelers are going to be as lucky, but you can't beat that kind of service!
