Returning to the place where my father spent his summers as a child has proven to be a magical experiece. The island is small and the inhabitants have been living there for generations and greet each other in the streets. On the hilltops there is a beautiful breeze especially as the sun prepares to set. There are wild fruit trees everywhere and kittens scampering in people's flower gardens. At night the island is alive and families and friends gather in the center to drink, gossip and dance.

Moved to Turkey Janurary 3, have not seen as much as I want to but I have seen a little.

I took a tour for Turkey with my twin sister for 10 days. It was typical Japanese tour. Everyday we had something to do, to see, to eat and so on. So busy and I got carsick most of the time since I had to sit in a bus for long hours to get to next place.

This was my first true travelling experience and i blame this experience for my addiction to travelling!

With a group of Italian friends we travelled to Istambul, central and southern Turkey. We loved the people, the nature and the signs of past civilizations, particularly the Roman Empire.
