Last year's 'long Eid' fell just before the weekend so we decided to go on a short trip. Turkey came to mind and we immediately booked flights and accommodations even before getting a visa lol It was such a fun experience, noting that the temperature was wayyy too cold for a tropic girl that I am :-D Went to visit The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace; did the Bhosphorous tour; went up to Camlica; experienced snow in Bursa and a few more fun stuffs that's worth the keep :-)
