Authentic Turkish and Mediterranean Food Jun 15, 2005
Istanbul Cafe mainly serves Turkish cuisine but they also serve some other Mediterranean food.All the cooks are originally from Turkey and good at their job.
What you should try there is first of all Iskender and Doner Kebab which are the most famous dishes of Turkish cuisine.They also serve tasty Turkish desserts too. Servers are very kind,helpful and hospitable.I was very surprised when I first saw a Turkish Restaurant in Alaska!!! Although they are far away from home they are doing a good job.
