Excellent place to stay in the old city centre Jun 25, 2010
My first experience with an Uzbek B&B and it did not disappoint. The rooms are bright, clean, comfortable and spacious. Each room is equipped with A/C, fridge, TV and private bathroom and basic breakfast is included in the price.

Not sure if meals are served in the restaurant (why would you want to eat in your hotel anyway?), but snacks, beer and soft drinks are available from the reception.

The B&B is run by a nice family and their son speaks good English. He will gladly assist with arranging transport or onwards hotel bookings as well as give advice about the city.

One of the great bonuses of this place is the wonderful rooftop terrace which boasts excellent views over the city. A great place to sip an afternoon tea or evening beer.

As extra service they offer massages in the room. Not sure what to think of this though - I didn't order.

Friendly English speaking staff, they even helped fix my virus-ridden portable hard disk, good breakfasts and a great view from the roof over the city. It's also located inside the city walls, which makes it a great location. If you've got a group of 2-3 it's a bit of a better deal - we're 3 and paying $35 a night, there's also a very nice clean bathroom!!
