As I said, I came here for 6 months thinking that I could also find some time to go around Europe a little during that time.  I thought I would come to the UK to work which would help me earn some money to travel a bit further 'cause let's face it: it is not quite affordable to travel properly…

This morning Matt left early for his bus back to Glasgow. I was asleep and missed him so didn't get to say goodbye. It was great to have met him and except for one small whiplash incident, he did a great job driving us around Scotland! When Anna and I had gotten up we went for a walk around the tow…

Why is it called the Isle of Skye, you ask?  Well, I don't know...I suppose I should look it up!  Our day three was devoted solely to this island, and all the wonders, magic and mystery surrounding it.  Our gracious bus driver took us around the island in a clockwise fashion, and we …

A delightful road trip through the land of kilts, haggis, bad weather, golf, whiskey and unsubstantiated lake monsters.... Travelled in a circle up the east coast, across to the north west and down the west coast before returning through the middle. A wonderful country with some terrific scenery. Weird people with funny accents, and as long as you only want to eat fish & chips you'll be fine!
