Don Kijot (Quixote) de La Mancha had his windmills and looked upon them and saw giants ... yes, Miguel de Cervantes immortalized him and windmills in his epic novel ... Late in the afternoon that day i decided to go to the center of Palma and find "my windmills" and see what will gonna happen with me ... I was curious from the first day when we steped on Palma to find them , i "ride my bus" to the centre and started to search for them. Through the streets i passed park , came on the bay...

From Palma...take the joyride to Soller on a vintage train through the mountains! Set in a lush valley of orange grove between the mountains and the sea. Soller has two museums worth visiting. The Natural Science Museum, a 19th century manor house and the Museu de Soller is a 18th century town house. It's better to come here by train, rather than car from Palma. The climb over the Coll de Soller, is the most terrifying drive in Mallorca. The train journey from Palma is ...

I am not sure I have enough talent as a writer to capture the essence of Ibiza. Ibiza, in many ways, defies words. It's a beautiful island in the Mediterranean which has become a hub for people who love to party and especially for those who love techno music. When I started planning out my September 2007 vacation, I was invited by some friends to come to Spain. I met a married couple I know and another friend in Barcelona where we spent a couple of...

Yes, it is possible, because I did it. Here's how it works:
The day begins at 7.30am with a quick walk on the beach, about an hour. Then some breakfast. Then you go back down to the beach for a bit of Qi Gong, about 45 minutes. After that you rush back to the hotel, get a drink of water, get changed, and go to do Core workout for about 45 minutes, which is how long you can do situps before you pass out. Then you walk over to the fancy gym and pool in Alcúdia, where you happily slide in...

With our rented car gone we had to look for alternative transportation. So we took the bus to Palma de Mallorca again. There we went directly to the station and bought tickets for the train to Sóller. This route through 13 tunnels was built back in 1912. It crosses the Serra de Alfabia. The "Red flash" (that is the name of the train) with its wooden wagons reminds of the old times. There is a special "tourist train" that starts arround 10:30 AM. It does stop at a certain point of the route ab...

Hmmm, Ibiza. Let me start with the disclaimer that I have wanted to go to Ibiza for years. House music, beaches, hedonists…what is not to like? But maybe this was my downfall. I won’t say I didn’t have a good time there, but I think I was expecting more. The beach was beautiful, of course. The clubs were fun….but honestly not exactly more impressive than places I have been in Las Vegas or New York. Don’t get me wrong, you would never be able...
