Irvine has become a wonderful place to live, work and hang out. (though many people argue that many places close far too early.) It's part of the reason it's so safe, they keep trouble down to a minimum by limiting the hours of nuisance. This very central city in the OC is upper-middle class neighborhood with great restaurants and bars. There are several outdoor shopping centers within a few miles from each other. The Irvine Market Place (not to be confused with the Tusin Market Place located across the street in Tustin) and the Irvine Spectrum which has doubled in size since opening.
