Day three: Ring of Kerry
This day we decided to drive the Ring of Kerry. We drove into town first to grab a few brochures from the tourist information office. We wanted to know a little bit about the places we were planning to drive through.
We didn’t realize until we were on …

I was up early this Sunday morning and at the main strip to catch my City Sightseeing Bus Tour. It was only about 14 euro, which wasn’t too bad. There was an Irish guy doing the live commentary instead of plugging in earphones. He was very informative and explained the riots in the early 20th cen…

Country number fifteen, Ireland. I have heard so many things about the emerald country, that I have always wanted to see it for real since I was a little child, to see if it was green, to see if there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and to see if there were as any priests walking aroun…

Hace 2 años que estuve visitando este gran pais y volver a Dublín para ver un concierto de U2 me pareció una gran idea.
Fue muy agradable volver a recorrer sus calles y a relacionarse con los irlandeses. ¡Qué gente más encantadora!.

Burt Castle is probably the best known castle in the north-west because of it prominent position on a hilltop clearly visible from the Derry-Letterkenny road. There is no path or road to the site of the castle and it is on private land. It is possible to get close to it by taking one of the roads l…

Dublin's not necessarily my favourite city in Ireland (I prefer the smaller towns), and this wasn't my best trip there, but it's hard to complain about something I didn't pay a dime for. Me and two of my coworkers took a group of 50 students to Dublin for the weekend, and while there was …

The last day in Dublin wasn't a very full day. We managed more to pack up our room and RUN for the bus stop so we could both make our respective flights back to the US and England. Now the rain started to come - I guess I was lucky!

Weekend break in Co. Kerry, Southwest of Ireland. Escaped from bustling city of dublin to the most breathtaking part of emerald island. Did the usual travelling like staying in hostel before but this time we wanted to be close to the nature. CAMPING! Sounds fun but requires mental stamina. Because …

Galway, Ireland -› Fanore, Ireland -› …
Clare has beautiful countryside, small town life, and interesting historical sites. One of the best things I did there was to take one of the tour buses to the Cliffs of Moher and other sites along the way. Tours leave from Ennis and Galway for a good price. Ask at the tourist office in either town about the tours and where they go. I give both tourist offices A+ ratings for friendliness and helpfulness.
