Dublin, Ireland -› Bunratty, Ireland -› …
I visited the Eastern Region and Dublin, the Capitol. I browse to the Guinness Storehouse, Temple Bar, The Hard Rock Cafe and Dublin Bay. Then I ventured to the Shannon Region to meet the Travbuddies at the Get Together and visited Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Limerick, Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone and finalized the trip at Cork.

Booked a trip to Dublin just because I've never seen U2 before and seriously needed a vacation. A couple weeks later I found out about the Irish Boogie (skydiving fest) and things couldn't have worked out better. Met some great people, had a lot of fun, and plan on returning.

I spent one day on each of the three Aran Islands exploring on foot what each has to offer. It was fortunate we had wonderful skies the entire trip, as it is often rainy and damp.

Soili, a cousin of mine came to visit me to Dublin for a couple of days in late June. She chose a good time to come by, because apart from a few heavy showers the weather was kind to us: the sun shone brightly and there was a nice cooling breeze. Soili arrived to Dublin on Friday afternoon, wh…

i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.

is the south west corner of Ireland. Dingle is the main town on the
Peninsula, and I stayed in a hostel there. This was the first trip I've
ever done completely on my own. I ended up making friends along the
way, and hav…

My first time in Ireland I was with a tour group, mostly Americans, and we had this beautiful blonde as our guide. One American guy was very obnoxious toward her, kept flirting with her even though everyone could tell she wasn't interested. You know, one of those guys who never gets the hint.

hundred Euro and left out of Schipol.
