People i met here, who contributed to and improved my trip: Julia (Russia), Vali and Mehran (Iran)
Iran is a country that strikes fear into many people, with America branding them as a nation that belongs to the 'axis of evil'. Been an Islamic State certainly doesn't improve its image in t…

Now this is what traveling is about! A land truly like no other. A nation so fully regulated you cant even Google the word ‘kiss’, yet with the right contacts, can pretty much do anything you want. Fantastic food, friendly people, exotic women, hijab-raising driving habits. Jump onto the flying carpet!

Not all photos in this blog are my works, and I'll credit to the original photographer.
However, I've been in these ways before and know these places. I'll upload my photos upon my return to home.
Hope to see a different aspect of Iran!

Iran has in general a pretty negative image thanks to its governemnet and the presentation of the country in the Western media, there's not much doubt about that. But how are the real Iranians? What me and my friends experienced on a 2 weeks roundtrip in this country was an overhelming hospitality, welcoming smiles and curiosity for foreign visitors. Bush's axis of evil? Haven't seen that one on the streets of the Iranian cities.

My two complete weeks in Iran cost me USD450 excluding international and domestic airfares. Half of that was accommodation as I wasn’t exactly roughing it … I involuntarily had 3 nights in a 4-star establishment including breakfast!
Domestic airfares are quite cheap at les…

Since a couple weeks I'm back from Iran. I stayed there for 24 days and I realy enjoyed it! I did not have one single problem. Especially the people are an unforgetable experience, they are very hospital and try to help you with everything. Maybe that is to restore the image of their country, I don…

It was a great 3 weeks in Kish - the hosts were so wonderful and hospitable and really welcomed me into their homes..
The food she prepared was awesome Parsi food. A soup which used lamb bones and cooked with lentils and eaten with bread was delicious! (Arsh if I'm not mistaken). I absolutely…

After spending some time in the big city of Tehran, I headed off with my Iranian companion to the south. In particular, Maryam suggested we check out the island of Qeshm, via the city of Bandar Abbas. After a full day exploring the island, our plan was to return to Bandar Abba…

This is my Bog Blog!
Call them whatever you like:
dunnies, pissers, gravy bowls, pissoirs, porcelain caves, potties, loos, crappers, dumpers, shitters, outhouses, throne, bogs, longdrops, WC's.
As much as we dont want to think about it, even good looking girls have to crap every day!
The vast array of toilets in the world have fascinated me for a long time.
This blog will be continuously updated as long as I continue to travel the world and wake up needing to hang a dump.
