Journey of the Bates generations

We left Madison in the morning as matter to drive further south. On the way to Kansas, we were passing through this funny named city: 'Dubuque'... which is actually my family name.

Working too much. On the road too much. Decided to add a personal trip out west after a week on the road in Iowa.

Made the trip from Martinsburg, up through Michigan into Canada around Lake Superior to Thunder Bay. Decided to go further west and hit Winnipeg before coming back to the states. Had to out run tornados in Minnesota. Last stop before coming home was the Field of Dreams

Over the past couple of years I have travelled a lot and I have taken many pictures from all over the world. As I do not have time to write blogs I decided to post a selected range of pictures here. up-date will be done not regurarly but from time to time. Please note some pictures have not the best quality as older (1997 - 2000)ones are basically scanned negatives. Should I mixed up any place or so please let me know. We decided since we are so close to Nebraska that we should skip in and 'claim' it as one of our road trip states. So we decide to head south to Omaha for lunch
