International Hotel Cafe Austin Reviews
Jul 06, 2006
When you are hungry for lunch, in a very small town, and ask at the gas station where to eat, you just have to go with what they tell you. So when the lady in the station pointed up the road to the International Hotel Cafe, that's where we went.
There was a young high school girl (waitress), who spent as much time talking on here cell phone to her friends as she did waiting on the few customers she had.
The other help in the kitchen must have been the same, because it took twenty minutes for them to tell us that the meat for my wife's sandwich was frozen and we would have to have something different. Then spent another 15 minutes making two egg salad sandwiches.
Historic meal, hardly. Special, no not at all. Better than starving, only just barely.
