Intercontinental Johannesburg International Airport Reviews

Sep 29, 2007
Within walking distance of the International terminal, the Intercontinental at the Johannesburg International Airport is an extremely convenient place to stay during overnight layovers.

Exhausted from my long flight, I was pleased to see that there were clearly marked signs in the airport which led me easily to the hotel. The staff at teh Intercontinental was lovely. The rooms are VERY clean. Mine had a king bed, a small table with chairs, a tv, mini bar, coffee station, desk and chair, trunk, and HUGE bathroom suite including a shower and separate bathtub.

It's a bit pricey (about $300 US/night), but you can't beat the convenient location to the airport, cleanliness and safety. I would stay here again if I had another overnight layover.
