Intercontinental Hotel San Francisco
Intercontinental Hotel San Francisco Reviews
Ballin' Hotel in Downtown 'Frisco Sep 04, 2008
This hotel is GORGEOUS! But pricey, people. Let's not forget the number one rule of ballers: you gotta drop it like it's hot. Live large or go home. There are many hotels in San Francisco that are more expensive and even more that are less. I would recommend this hotel to someone who doesn't mind living on the edge of a dodgy neighbourhood (don't go for walks at night more than one block west or south of the hotel!!)
This hotel seemed to be a popular choice for conferences and there were some families staying there as well. The hotel's restaurant, Luce is very nice with a limited selection of dishes (but all are done very well - the steak is wonderful!!) and the hotel bar is rather typical. As far as I'm aware the hotel has a pool and gym but I didn't have time to check them out with all the things there are to see and do in San Francisco. The staff at the hotel were awesome and very helpful and got to know us even though we were only there for four days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind being two blocks away from Union Square and a $6-$8 cab ride from the popular bars on Columbus. |
