Inner Amsterdam

Staff was decent. Hotel was a bit run down and there was no soundproofing and lots of sound.

Took them two days to fix a simple problem with a fluorescent lamp in the bathroom.

The bed was brick hard and the covers were an interesting overlay of too-small bits of covers to sort of form a complete set.

"Complimentary internet" consisted of two windows boxes in the lobby that were always busy with a long wait and when you did finally get on, you were expected to be off in 15 minutes (because others were also waiting). No wifi, no place to plug in your own laptop.

I wouldn't stay here again, but, the location was very convenient (right near Museumplein tramstop and the Stederdijk Museum).

If you are looking for a hotel which is close to everything but not expensive and noisy in the night you have to choose this one. It's near the museeums and if you want to party you have just to walk over thr bridge (1 kilometer) or you can rent a bike.

The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and the service is excellent.
