The Inkawasi Backpacker was a great place to stay after a few days in the jungle! The rooms were clean and has nice beds, hot water showers, and the private rooms had television. Dorm rooms with shared bath costed $10 USD and private rooms started at around $30 USD per night AND came with FREE breakfast. The hostel also had free internet (but only one computer so it was almost always in use!) and they also offered laundry service for a small fee. There were loads of brochures on things to do in Peru and the staff was very helpful. It was in a good location - within walking distance to El Parque del Amor and to the big centro commercial LarcoMar filled with restaurants and shops and a s./5 taxi ride away from Barranco. Taxis between the airport and Inkawasi ranged from s./30 to s./45 depending on what type of taxi you get - you just have to walk 2 blocks to a main road to catch one.
