Great hotel in natural setting, eco and green too May 14, 2013
This hotel is one of the best hotels in Machu Picchu for sure, many casitas set in natural surrounding with waterfalls, lush plants, orchids and birds. The suite we had was spacious, great bathroom with towel heaters. The only minus was they did not have wi-fi in the room, only in the cafe. We also used the spa for a nice massage. On top of all that, Inkaterra is a green eco hotel, so they care about how to make a positive impact on the environment. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Peru. I only wished we had stayed two nights instead of one.

In the nature, close to the trainstation Agua Calientes Nov 04, 2011
We stayed here 2 nights to visit Machu Picchu. We had a house with 2 big rooms, a fireplace with 2 comfortable chairs, a big bathroom and in the middle of the nature, a cloud-forest.

It was raining when we arrived and we had to walk, cars cannot come to the hotel. Check-in is at 12, so we had to wait more than 1,5 hour. Breakfast and dinner were good and the staff were friendly, though they couldn't understand English. Umbrellas were available, the hotel organised hikes in the cloud-forest.
