Ingleside, Ontario is a village located in South Stormont township. Initially founded in the 1950's upon the flooding of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Currently the population is 1,500, and has remained steady for the past several years. Ingleside is a village mainly founded by farmers and those leaving Farran's Point and other villages that were flooded.
Ingleside has many amenities such as; a bank, grocery store, medical clinic, pharmacy, campgrounds etc. There is also a nice paved bike trail that runs along the river into and out of the village. There are also several nearby tourist attractions. Ingleside is located 20 minutes away from Cornwall, an hour south of Ottawa, an hour and a half east of Kingston, and an hour and a half west of Montreal.
