Indra Regent Hotel

Have heard of a few people staying here and on my fourth trip to Bangkok thought I would give it a go. For the price it probably isn't overly worth it but you can get the train from the airport to Ratchaprarop station and your ithin walking distance to the hotel (saves about 900 Baht this way). Markets are right in front of the hotel with heaps of massage places, restaurants and internet cafe's across the road. Hotel was clean and comfortable but I would probably only stay here for the location again. Staff weren't overly friendly. Heaps of Tuk Tuk's out the front though all the time to go to all the bars and markets that are around :-)

Although the hotel is not very close to the Subway and Skytrain station, its location is still good, as you can access to many shopping spots by walking. The outlook of the building is a bit run-down, the room is okay, but the water pressure of the shower seems weak, pool is small, breakfast buffet is good. I stayed there in August 2006 in a double room for 2 nights for 1950 bahts per night, and I booked thru atsiam.com
