India Garden

An excellent purveyor of Indian cuisine in Delft. We started with garlic nan, the first in years, and it was scrumptious! Kim ordered some tea that was flavored with cardamom and she was in heaven, especially after our very cold day. I ordered some curry soup and beef vindaloo, which was prepared with the perfect amount of spicy heat. Kim ordered some tandoori shrimp that was served with a warmed sauce…she scooped it up with her garlic nan and just smiled…

Things were going well and we were in no hurry to depart delightful Delft, so on to dessert! Kim enjoyed some Indian ice cream, mango coconut, and although I can’t eat sweets, something on the menu caught my eye. A Grolsch draft for only two euro --- WOW, I hadn’t seen these prices since leaving the states. Though I enjoyed my beer, the wee price was justified by being served in a wee glass…
