In Dublin's Fair City... Travel Reviews

Jul 10, 2007
One thing I loved about Dublin is that you could walk to every great sight seeing opportunity. But, if you are not up for a short walk here and there you can hop on the LUAS. The LUAS is the light rail that runs from Houston(Heuston?)Station to Connoly Station. If you want to go to the coast, you get off at Connoly station, pass the peace flame, cross the River Liffey and go a few more blocks to the DART station (similar to the Metro Link in Southern California, or the Subway in New York.. but above ground). Dun Laoghaire (sounds: Dun Leary)[Jame's Joyce Tower] is a beautiful and quaint town near the Irish Bay. If you don't believe me, see it for yourself!

Things to see/ do:

1.Wicklow Mountains (take a bus tour)
2.Dublin Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour.
3.Lush, a handmade soap store.
4.Trinity College.
5.The National Museum of Ireland.
6.Irish Museum of Modern Art
7.The Chimney at Smithfield Village.
8.The inside of St. Patrick's Cathedral
9.Dublin City Hall
10.Dublin Castle
11. The Presidents Place (Just beyond Houston Station and the Best Western)[see Phoenix Park].
12.Molly Malone statue.
13. St. Stephen's Green (Great walking park)
14.Guinness Brewery
15.American College...Oscar Wylde's House.
16.Phoenix Park
17.Grafton Street
18.Nassau Street.
19.Temple Bar (and surrounding area).
20.Killiney for Bono and Enya's homes, or the view.
21.Glendalough tower, visit the pub for some good eats.
22.Croppy Acre... and much much more!

Good luck!

Be sure not to activate it too ea...

tirsomaldonado says: Before going to Ireland I check rates in all car rentals in Dublin and this one was the cheapest.
