Stayed at the Impiana KLCC Hotel and Spa for 5 nights on a work trip and found it to be the only place that I would stay for all my future trips to Kuala Lumpur! All because it is convenient, clean, timber flooring, good perfect location, and on top of it all, it is value for money!! ha ha ha...... all in that order!

Spacious Deluxe Rooms with timber flooring. Yes, timber flooring and I find it somewhat odd at first. However, later find it very nice and clean. Now I would prefer the timber flooring any time to any other rooms with carpet or tiles/marble flooring in all the other hotels that I have stayed in before.

Rooms are with free unlimited internet access and also found free wireless internet access, at the pool, at the spa, at the lobby and coffee house. The bathroom is not as luxurious as most of the other 5 star hotels in town, but hey, who spends most of the time in the bathroom anyway :)!

Staffs are really really friendly and helpful. Ever ready to serve you. The lady that checks me in at the Reception was really busy that day but she did not fail to take time to ensure that I am all fine before she let me have my room keys. The room attendants (I think they are not Malaysians) and the people at the coffee house, are polite and very helpful too.

The spa therapists at Swasana Spa are exceptional. I learnt that they are all from Bali and they offer exceptional Balinese treatments. The girls are so humble and polite and made very effort to ensure that I had a good spa experience. Wonderful and the price of treatment don't burn a hole in your pocket! Beats going all the way to Bali for sure!

Hotel is located right opposite the KL Convention Centre so that makes it very easy for me to attend the ARCHIDEX 2009 exhibition whilst staying there recently. All I need to do is to cross the road and I am already a stone throw away from the entrance.

Pavilion, Star Hill and Suria KLCC shopping centre is located less then 3 minutes walk. So, that makes it easy to get shopping done and the choice of food at Pavilion and Suria KLCC would just spoil you! To get to Pavilion, all I need to do is just walk towards the back of the hotel and I can already see the escalator to the pedestrian crossing that leads me to Pavilion and Star Hill. All less then 3 minutes.

There are also plenty of free standing restaurants, night clubs and pubs at Jalan P. Ramlee, located on the left side of the Hotel and Chulan Square for some really nice foreign restaurant on the right side of the hotel. My colleagues and I tried and found the Vietnamese and Lebanese restaurant at Chulan Square, the Hakka Restaurant near Pavilion, Madam Kwan and a Sudanese Restaurant at the 4th Floor of Suria KLCC, a place that not to be missed :)! The food yummy and the service excellent! Not expensive, trust me.

I found a nice jogging track at KLCC Park by accident, a huge play children ground with fountains, bridges and nice clean garden landscapes. A jog or a walk at this park in the evenings or in the early mornings is a must for park lovers and it is located just behind the KL Convention Centre.

The one and only setback that I find in this hotel is the current construction at the front of the Hotel just beside the KL Convention Centre. I also learnt that it is going to be the Hyatt Hotel Kuala Lumpur. But given the price of room, spa and food that I am paying for, the timer flooring in the room, the most convenient location that I have come to custom to, and the friendliness of the people at Impiana KLCC, I have no doubt but to book into this Hotel again at anytime for my trips to KL and recommend Impiana KLCC to any of my friends!
