Imperial Hotel Bologna Reviews
Incredible Hotel Mar 29, 2009
This hotel is quite possibly the best I've stayed at in a long time.
While I frequently travel alone, and thus spend a lot of time in hostels, the hostel selection in Bologna was poor. Forced to choose a hotel I found this one.
I was amazed at the hotel when I got there. It is a real hotel, without flaw...and the price is amazing.
The hotel is not in the city center, even though it makes up for that in many other ways, the locatin isn't really a problem. Bus 25 (towards Gomito) takes you straight from the train station to the hotel in 15 minutes. The hotel is actually at the Gomito stop/terminal. That same bus will take you into the main town center.
The breakfast here was the best Italian breakfast. While it was still a cold breakfast, they did offer a great variety of doughnuts, cereal, meats, cheese, coffee, juice, milk etc, buffet style...all you could eat. Many other hotels will give you a hard roll and butter and call it breakfast.
The room was clean and the bathroom was ensuite. It's a newer building and is very clean in genearl. They have a workout facility and a spa. The television is connected to SkyNet and thus there is english language news and movies available. The movies cost extra (6€).
I couldn't have been happier with a hotel.
