Imperial Garden Restaurant Fresno Reviews
we keep going back :) Aug 31, 2014
Although, this restaurant may NOT be our best bet for a meal with picky friends (aka "socialites") and yes the restaurant's appearance is not always appealing, nor a place for intimate conversations... but a place fo some really good food? Sure is!
We have been dining here for quite a while now. And customer service may not be par excellence but heck we like their food, so we go back time and time again.
Our favorite dishes are "Mix Fried Noodle,"Fried Rice," and about four to five different dim sum. Hot tea for drinks. The fried noodle that is serve in a big platter is mixed with vegetables, seafoods and meat. And every order of this dish is always delicious! It is never a "hit and miss." Vegetables are fresh and crunchy while mixed seafoods and meat are very tender. Sauce to this dish is tasty, and the amount is just right.
Besides the good foods as the reason for our "keep coming back," their price range, too is fairly average. For a party of four, a budget of $35.00 you'll all filled up and satisfied!
Dim sum is available every day. They have a "push-cart style" in that guest can pinpoint the kind of dim sum they fancy trying. This serving style can be a fun experience but only available on Sundays.
They have a wide range of selections for dim sum, of course, we have our favorites. I recommend trying the shrimp dumplings (steam or fry), fried taro, shu mai, and for the more adventurous try the beef tripe and the chicken feet; these two dim sums are oozing with a delicious sauce.
On our first-time visit, we found the restaurant easily and no matter how busy it gets they have ample parking. By the way, their peak days are Sundays (when dim sum push cart is on) and Chinese New Year. ~
