Imperial Boathouse hotel
Imperial Boathouse hotel Reviews
May 31, 2004Quite expensive but so worth it! Such attention to detail in every way, pure luxury. Set on the beautiful and unspoiled beach of Choeng Mon on the northeast coast of Koh Samui, The Imperial Boat House Hotel comprises of 34 authentic teakwood rice barges converted into luxury suites, as well as eight low-rise accommodation wings. We stopped in one of the rice barges which was split level and very comfortable. The hotel was not overcrowded and there was plenty of space around the two swimming pools and on the beach. Food and drinks were served from the top class hotel resturant or along the small beach resturants. The hotel were happy to take orders for food and drinks on the beach or at the poolside. All the staff were helpful beyond words and the hotel and grounds were kept immaculate. Water sports available were canoeing, snorkeling and windsurfing in the bay. The hotel has an on site dive school.
So far this has been the best place we have visited on our travels and would have absolutely no doubts about returning to the island or the Boathouse Hotel. Part of the Koh Samui, Thailand travel blog |
