Il Forno Gastronomia Pomo Doro Budapest Reviews
Having dinner in Paradise* Aug 03, 2010
I passed this place and entered it to ask what was on the menu. Behind de bar were all kind of fresh meats and vegs that were forged into nice dishes.
The menu was tempting lots of meats (my favourits) some fish, starters, first and second plates of all kind and all at affordable prices. (When I eat out alone -for the company- I always try to go where I would take family or friends. This is such place)
I had a plate with meats and cheeses and home made bread for starter and a pork dish for main course.
The starter was very nice (couldn't expect otherwise) but the pork was so soft I had never had pork before,
The sauer cream made it Hungarian and what they made from simple spinach!! (I always like spinach, but this was nicer than I usually make or get)
The staff was correct and friendly, and was English speaking. (I don't care, but it makes things easier)
I only have 4 nights, I have to try other restaurants, but wouldn't mind coming back to this one.
*the Hungarian word for tomato is paradise
