Iguazú Falls, called Foz do Iguaçu in Brazilian, and Cataratas del Iguazú in Spanish, lie on the Argentina - Brazil border. The name of the falls comes from the Guaraní word for "great water." Taller than Niagara Falls, twice as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horsehoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River. Two thirds of the falls are on the Argentinian side of the river where you can also tour Iguazú National Park where there are jungle trails and bird hikes. The view from the Brazilian side is the most panoramic.

Iguazu Falls are often listed as one of the must do´s for South America and they did not disappoint. We spent a couple days on both the Argentina and Brazilian sides to ensure that everyone got their fill of the positive attitude that encompasses you due to the positive ions emitted by the falling masses of water. Iguazu is actually a collection of 275 individual falls along 3 kilometers of the Iguazu river. The most impressive portion is the Devil´s th...

Having to finally leave our apartment in Buenos Aires we needed something to kick start our travels again, so we decided to jump on a 19 hour bus ride and headed to Puerto Iguazu at the junction of the Argentinian, Brazilian and Paraguayian borders. The Iguazu Falls are one of the most spectacular sights that we've come across. Wider and taller then Niagara, Iguazu is one of the largest falls in the world, and they definately lived up to it.We got the first bus and managed t...

So, what about me? I adore nature and, perhaps, the main thing for me is to relax enjoying the harmony of this world. Such an astonishing and inspiring place is Iguazu Falls in Argentina. Of course...
