The bone chapel Dec 06, 2012
The Capela dos Ossos (English: Chapel of Bones) is one of the best known monuments in Évora, Portugal. It is a small interior chapel located next to the entrance of the Church of St. Francis. The Chapel gets its name because the interior walls are covered and decorated with human skulls and bones.

Although it's not creepy and it actually forms a very aesthetic scenery, And there's no problem to take small kids as I used to go with my parents when I was little and never got scared.

Besides of the skulls and bones which cover all walls and ceiling, there are also 3 full body skeletons.
