I would go to Barceloneta beach. If it's warm, laying there, if it's chilly you can walk along the beach. There are also lot of local restaurants in Barceloneta, offering fixed price menu (menu del dia), by lunch time (around 1pm). Fixed price menu include starter, main course and dessert (all you can choose from about 3 options).
Of course there are lot of turist attractions in Barcelona too. I like most Parc Güell. Sagrada Familia is also nice, as well as others Gaudi buildings. If you have only little time or money, you don't even have to enter, the most beautiful thing is how they look outside!
