Ice tale in the middle of summer Mar 07, 2011
Summer 2010 was very hot in Moscow. It was about 40 degrees above zero that day when we went to the Ice Sculpture Gallery. It was such a relief to find myself among cold ice.

At the entrance we were given funny blue coats and boots to keep warm. The sculptures were wonderful. The illumination made them colorful and surreal. There were characters from various Russian and European tales. You can lie on the ice bed, sit on the ice throne, see the ice fridge full of fruit and touch the ice Witch and Snow White. You can take pictures of yourself near the ice beautiful high knights. You can even lick the piece of ice cheese.:)

Maybe It is not the most beautiful and wonderful place I've ever seen, but still it is worth seeing. Especially when it is terribly hot outside.
