A strong link in the Ibis chain May 16, 2004
The French two star hotel chain Ibis of the Accor hotel group offers standard hotel/motel rooms everywhere in France and beyond. However, some of those hotels earn more glory. One of them is the Ibis Arles/Camargue.
Like most of these hotels Ibis Arles is situated in a commercial zone. The distance to the city center with its great sights is easily walkable. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and modern (with airco). What I liked about the hotel most were the restaurant and the pool. The restaurant is specious and modern; it offers a good french buffet. It has a nice terrace by the pool, which is surrounded by some green. There are lots of flowers. Against the hotel walls huge bougainvilles grow up to the roof. I think Van Gogh would have likes it here... Part of the France 2004 travel blog |

Un des plus beaux villages de France, that's how Les Baux de Provence strikes its breast. Without doubt, this is an exceptional place.
