We spent 33 euro for a rocky ferry ride to Caen. We arrived in Caen with a great buzz to start the trip. We got our frist after about an hour, though only into town. Caen has a beautiful cathedral and little castle though we didnt stay long. We walk…… a not so great start |

My first time on a TGV and I must say that I was very impressed! The views up on the train were very nice. As for Caen....what a sh*t hole!! Talk about your one horse towns. Almost everything in town was closed or had been abandoned!
