 Good for a night Sep 12, 2009
Ibis hotels are mainly for a place to sleep, that's surely the thought you have when you book this Ibis hotel in Aachen.
I'm not saying it's a bad hotel and you should avoid it. It's got as pluses that the price is very favourable and also the location ain't that bad either. It's maybe 5min. walk from the main train station, and walking to the Altstadt (city centre) will take you around 15-20min. The room we had was quite cramped and the bathroom could barely fit two people at the same time. Room and hotel itself was clean and staff friendly. Our booking didn't include breakfast so can't comment on that. There are several F&B places in the direct neighbourhood and also a small supermarket. To conclude, Ibis Aachen can be quite cheap if you book in advance the right period and fine for an one or two night stay.
