IRIS Disco Quepos Reviews

You will find the club surrounded by water, walk over the bridge and there it is the entrance!! the first thing that will capture you, is the smell of bbq meat cooking, and the second thing your think is "thats my after club munchies out the way" the club itself is ok, its got two bars oppsite from each other, and in the middle is the dancefloor. The decor is defo American looking, with lots of wood features everywhere.
lets talk buisness, ok, the music is very European, i dont know what music they play in american clubs but, if i was in England then i would say its a "townie club/chav" tho if your drunk your think that its ok. one of my downpoints is the drink prices!!!! 2,000colones for a single drink, so bring a bit of cash on you.
another downpoint is that being female, because the moment you walk into that club, you get harrest from the local ticos!! and after a few minutes that becomes tiredsome.
Another point of concern is sercurity, makesure you watch your things, one the girls we was with, didnt, and had her coat stolen!!! even tho we was all watching it!!
But it is a decent place to experience a Tico/Tica nightlife, and see how the salsa is really done, i do think, that it depends on the people you go there with, if it was just two girls, then it would suck!! but if your in a group it is more fun...
i say try it out, tho you are warned on the drink prices, and as for the BBQ, i never got to taste it...
