Rockin' Hot Pot!! Apr 19, 2008
This isn't one of those chain hot pot restaurants, and it isn't far away from Sanlitun and Yueshow Fashion Market. They have a good selection of broths, and my favorite- make your own dipping sauce. You don't order sauces off the menu, they have a "do-it-yourself" bar. They're known for ostrich, which we didn't try, but they have a good selection of foods to go in your hot pot. And unlike other hot pot places, each person has their own hot pot. No debating, no conceding, just get what you want. The staff was very helpful and attentive, even though we probably provided amusement too.
Dinner for three including 2 500mL beers and 2 cans of Coke came to 240RMB (USD$34). Part of the The China Adventure travel blog |

The menu was in English, and there was someone who knew enough English to know what I meant since I did the ordering… Parents- Day 5- Chaoyang Park |
