Hydra Island Sep 30, 2014
Hydra island was, and will always be the most memorable island for me in as much as Greek islands are concerned. The island became so special to me because this is the very first Greek island that I’ve been to and this island opened the door for me to get interested with the rest of Greek islands.

Hydra is a small rocky and hilly island. It may not have those golden beaches but the rocky shores present their own charm. The waters are cool and calm. Despite the stiff road up the hill, we managed to reach the top. Anyway, the whitewashed walkways, the full view of the town and the quiet blue ocean gave us a great reward as we stand at the top of the hill. Traffic jam will never be experienced, as there is no available car anywhere in the island. The transportation within the island is only through the donkey – another thing that makes the island more interesting.

But there is no such interesting thing than coming back here again
