Hyderabad is considered to be the second technology capital of India second only to Bangalore. With it's high desert terrain, Hyderabad in central India has a fairly dry climate similar to New Mexico in the U.S. It is a moderately sized city when compared to Delhi or Mumbai but has all of the same draws of a larger city. One is welcomed at their state of the art and beautiful new airport. From the air you can get a good appreciation of the rocky character of the landscape and you can also see the scattered rock wall remains of times gone by.
Places of interest while in Hyderabad; Golconda Fort, Charminar, Salarjung Museum, Mecca Masjid, Qutub Shahi Tombs and Palaces.
There is an excellent network of hotels, restaurants and travel. Hotels are reasonably prices but advance booking is advisable if travelling during festivals or long weekends..
