Hyatt Regency Huahin

We arrived quite late in Huahin and the first thing we did was order room service. Typically, the food was great and filling.

The resort is big with several pools of all kinds and slides even. There is also a very easy access to the beach. However, there are times when there were just a lot of kids and if you are after the peace and quiet, then the Regency Club is just for you.

I especially love the Regency Club. There is a private pool that is almost always peaceful, you'll also have a private section by the beach front that will guarantee tranquility. The staff we're very accomodating and you could really feel that they were attentive to your needs. My girlfriend and I were sun-bathing by the beach and there came on waiter carrying a cold bottle of water and a watermelon.. That was so refreshing and simply made my day.

Apart from cocktails, wine and canapes in the evening (which for us light-eaters is as good as dinner already), there's complimentary beverage all day at the Regency Club, and iced-coffee in the mid afternoon is just delightful!

We also asked the concierge to arrange a trip for us and we were given a very smart, accurate and efficient recommendation for an elephant tour.

Very accessible to Bangkok with a minivan service available in Century Mall near the Victory Monument. There's also an hourly shuttle to the city if you want to go shopping.

It was a very, very delightful experience at Huahin :)
