Hyatt Regency Boston Reviews
2nd experience at Hyatt; Not impressed at all Dec 01, 2010
This was my second time staying at a Hyatt brand hotel. Also got the deal through hotwire. The structure of the building and setting was very nice. Appeared to be business oriented, and even located in the Financial district.
-Not too far from theatre district
-Location wasn't close to night life
-Parking was ridiculously expensive [$43/night]
-Internet at business center was ridiculously expensive [something like $1/ minute]
-Bed was too small
-Bathrooms should be upgraded to match rooms
-Security at night wouldn't let us bring people back to our rooms [who are they to tell us whether or not we can have guests?]
-When we had requested 2 beds, they gave us only 1 King bed [4 of us girls couldn't sleep on 1 bed]. Then in order to get a room with 2 beds, we had to pay an extra fee [you would think they would want to do anything to make us happy but not the case]
-We were not only not allowed to take things from the fridge [understandable] but we couldn't use the fridge at all or we would be charged.
-Basically we felt scammed as the deal on hotwire wasn't worthy, since we ended up spending same amount if we hadn't gotten a deal.
-Absolutely nothing impressive about the hotel.
I would definitely NOT reccommend this hotel to anyone. It just isn't worth it and isn't even that nice. If you do use hotwire for Boston hotels, make sure to select a location in the theatre district as this is where all the action is.
