Just a nice quick meal Jun 22, 2010
After leaving Calgary and heading south and then west towards our way back into the US we dropped down to Hwy 3 and then turned west. About 2 hours and 45 minutes later we were looking for a place to stop. Out into the very open prairie land of southern Alberta we finally stopped at Husky service station which also had a small sit down diner. We were ready for a nice little meal and to stretch our legs a little. As we ate a very nice meal we watched some very dark and storm-filled clouds make their way east across the prairie just to the south of us. The very nice waitress told us that the town of Pincher Creek was getting it pretty hard that day. We had a late breakfast meal and it was served just to our liking. This place was nothing fancy at all but made you feel welcome and comfortable.
