Reykholt in the west side of Iceland. It maybe not in everyone's route but after our road trip is a convenient place to stay. After visited some waterfalls, caves and volcanoes lava, the closest town we had that night is Reykholt, but searching a place to stay wasn't easy.

Accommodation in Reykholt is limited, there is not much online and I came to this Guesthouse via I'm so lucky to grab their last room, although I made my booking seven months in advance, but thier room sold out pretty fast. I understand why their rooms are gone really quickly, it is in the weekend we came in Reykholt and seems the area around is favourite for bikers and hikers

Same as my previous booking, I search a place to stay with parking and the guesthouse provide space for cars, but not really made for big vehicles, we had a small car of Toyota Corolla and gladly we arrived early before the rest of the guest arrived

The landlady is very friendly, first thing she done showed us around the house. Guest rooms are downstairs and she live uptstairs.

All rooms are occupied she said. We were first guest arrived, she letting us to choose a room, but the first room she show us was one of the best with two single beds while other room has one double bed and it stood against the wall. It looks smaller than our room

When she took us to our room, my first impression when I see the twin beds, what? is like a room for dwarf people lol

Free wifi overall inside, this is a plus point of the guesthouse

The shared bathroom is located on the hallway, it was okey not super clean but spacious with toiletries and hairdryer.

The shared kitchen is okey too, but if everyone is cooking on the same time I think they will bumped to each other. We decided not to cooked, we bought salads earlier from the supermarket before coming and this is what we had for dinner

Well, for the room price of 62 euro I find the small room not worth it. So small and so cramped we have no space for luggage. Each time I need something of my suitcase I had to placed in bed

Breakfast included serves in the kitchen, what they had is simple - toast bread and jam, but I'm just happy with coffee only.

I would not stay for more than one night. There's nothing around the guest house, you can choose preparing you food in the kithcen or bring a ready to eat. They had oven and microwave. Oh and there's a hot tub outside, free to use
