The terraces are huge and sit between massive hills and mountains, they have apparently been there for 700 hundred years. The people who live high up in the hills still continue to farm the land in a similar fashion even today.
Our guest house was completely wooden but had the most amazing view overlook...

Jour 2 dans le parc. Et il fait super beau et chaud. Ye!

Newsflash : I was almost killed by a small black chicken...you know the black ones that is used to boil herbal soup? The chicky was trying his luck at retribution. Bird Flu my ass...I was walking on this 2 foot pathway by the side of a hill and the other side is a plunging fall into a chocolate river..... and the black chicky ran through my legs, throwing me off balance and I almost fell a whole 2 meters down the rocky death threatening cliff into the raging rapid chocolate river.

using holidays spent at Guilin, China.
Breath-taking view of Longji Terraces, the view should be terrific during summer with water reflecting the sunlight.

I recently took a 15 day ritz tour to China where we jumped from city to city seeing pretty much everything we could. We also enjoyed the local cuisine! As difficult as our schedule was we saw some pretty amazing sights. From what I have read, alot of these places were rocked by that massive earthquake.

I didn't sleep too badly last night. I was awoken every couple of hours as the train bumped along futhur down into China. We made the mistake of not buying any breakfast supplies for the journey, so we munched on crisps and popcorn. The view was absolutely spectacular. Not a single part of of the country passed by uninhabited. 1.4 billion people seem to be evenly spread throughout the land. As we progressed deeper south, the vegatation became more green and lush. The mountains are beaut...
